A 2.1 magnitude earthquake struck Korea's eastern county of Uiryeong, South Gyeongsang Province, on Sunday, the weather agency said.

The quake occurred at 9:54 a.m., about 20 kilometers north-northeast of the county, the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) said. The epicenter was detected at a latitude of 35.48 degrees north and a longitude of 128.31 east at a depth of 10 km.

The KMA said the earthquake was unlikely to cause any damage. (Yonhap)
