Singer Huh Yun-jin of the girl group Le Sserafim released her new solo song, 'Jellyfish,' on Friday, sharing a comforting message through the track.

The self-written single is an R&B soul piece with an acoustic guitar melody. It uses the metaphor of jellyfish swimming in the deep sea to draw parallels to real life.

Huh explained that she views jellyfish as creatures that do their best to swim through turbulent seas. Watching them, she found comfort in their ability to persevere in harsh environments, which inspired her to incorporate this symbolism into her music.

"I realized that someone's daily life of working hard can appear beautiful to others, and just like how the jellyfish was to me, someone's mere existence can be a comfort to others," the singer said through her agency Source Music.

"So I wanted to say, 'Since your existence can be a comfort to someone else, let's recognize each other's beauty while swimming hard even when out of breath.'"

This is the fifth self-written song the singer has released as a single. Since debuting with the group in 2022, she has consistently released self-composed tracks, including "Raise Your Glass," "I ≠ DOLL," "Love You Twice" and "Blessing in Disguise."

On Dec. 1, the group released a new Japanese album called "CRAZY," a Japanese version of its fourth mini-album of the same name.
