President Yoon Suk Yeol on Tuesday visited a hospital in central Seoul for a medical check-up after making his first appearance at his impeachment trial at the Constitutional Court, sources said.

According to the sources, Yoon and his escort vehicles departed from the court at 4:42 p.m. and traveled to the Armed Forces Seoul Capital District Hospital for a routine medical examination.

Yoon is not currently suffering from any specific medical issues, the sources added, noting that the visit was apparently arranged with the approval of the head of the detention center.
