Lee Seung-hun captured gold in the men's freestyle skiing halfpipe at the Asian Winter Games in China on Saturday, becoming the first South Korean to win an Asiad title in his sport.
Lee scored 97.50 points in the final at the Yabuli Ski Resort, some 200 kilometers southeast of the main host city of Harbin.
Fellow South Korean Moon Hee-sung got bronze with 88.50 points, with Sheng Haipeng of China winning the silver with 90.50 points.
Earlier in the day, Jang Yu-jin won bronze in the women's halfpipe event.
Previously, South Korea had just one freestyle skiing medal at Winter Asiads, a silver by Choi Jae-woo in the men's moguls at the 2017 competition. (Yonhap)
