"Kang Soo-jung is expecting her baby in July as she is four months pregnant," the Mail Business Newspaper quoted a confidant as saying. "A test result showed that she has a twin."

She married her husband who works in a Hong Kong financial firm, in March, 2008. However, his work prompted them to become a 'goose couple,' who lives far apart because of their occupation or child education.
Also, since she continued her work in broadcasting after marriage, she herself wanted a baby as much as her family.
"When she found out that she was pregnant, she resigned from all her programs with consent from the broadcaster involved," the confidant said. "She is now focusing on prenatal education. The news wasn't made public because they wanted to be cautious."
After she became a KBS announcer in 2002, she received the 'New Star Award' in KBS Entertainment Awards for her outstanding activity in the once popular program 'Happy Sunday- 5 girls' and became the original 'anatainer' which is a compound word of announcer and entertainer.
After resigning from KBS in 2006, she became a freelancer, appearing in many programs such as MBC 'King of Studies,' SBS 'Quiz Sixth Sense Contest' and 'Full of Ambition.'
After marriage, she kept on her broadcasting work and even won 50 million won by becoming the last person in KBS quiz program ' 1 vs 100' last November.
강수정 "7월 쌍둥이 엄마"
KBS 아나운서 출신 방송인 강수정(33)이 오는 7월 쌍둥이의 엄마가 된다.
강수정의 최측근은 "강수정씨가 현재 임신 4개월째로 7월 출산 예정이다. 검사결과 쌍둥이라는 소식을 들었다"고 전했다.
강수정의 2세 소식은 결혼 3년만의 일이다.
2008년 3월 홍콩 금융회사에 근무하는 남편 매트 김씨와 결혼한 강수정은 한동안 기러기 부부로 생활해 왔다.
또 강수정 본인도 결혼 후 왕성한 방송활동을 이어간 까닭에 2세 소식은 가족들뿐 아니라 물론 본인 조차도 간절했던 것이 사실.
이 측근은 "강수정은 임신사실을 알게 된 지난해 말 그 동안 진행해오던 프로그램 측에 조심스럽게 양해를 구하고 모두 하차한 상태다. 현재는 태교에 전념하고 있다"며 "그 동안 조심해야 했던 터라 외부에는 알리지 못했다"고 덧붙였다.
2002년 KBS 공채 28기 아나운서로 방송계에 입문한 강수정은 KBS '해피선데이-여걸5'를 통해 아나운서답지 않은 예능감을 발휘하며 2003년 KBS '연예대상'에서 신인상을 받는 등 원조 아나테이너로 각광을 받았다.
2006년 KBS 퇴사 후, 프리선언을 하며 MBC '공부의 제왕' SBS '퀴즈 육감대결' '야심만만' 등 다양한 예능프로그램에서 종횡무진 활약했다.
결혼 후에도 많은 프로그램을 진행했고 지난해 11월에는 KBS 퀴즈프로그램 '1대100'에 출연해 최후의 1인에 등극하며 상금 5.000만원을 손에 쥐어 화제가 되기도 했다.
