Kim Hee-sun, one of the most popular actresses in Korea, Japan and China, has said she now regrets having disclosed that she has a daughter.
In an interview, Kim said, "After reading all the negative postings on the blog, I regretted publishing a photo of my daughter on the Internet.
"She is so pretty and means the world to me. I made her existence public because of these thoughts but what came back was comments about how ugly she was."
Kim added, "I am the celebrity. Why should my daughter pay the price? I got to the point where I was wondering if I want to continue living in Korea."
Following the interview, her supporters sent her positive messages such as "I am angry as a mother" and "some people simply don't have any feelings."
