Notoriety for unexpectedly vaporizing main cast members is haunting a hallyu drama.

Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (MBC)'s daily drama "Princess Aurora" is currently garnering public skepticism as the synopsis progresses while some of its main cast members keep disappearing from its airing with outrageously awkward cues.

The drama, for that reason, has gained a satirical title "survival drama," as it inclines viewers to anticipate which one will permanently step down from it.

Here is the pitch: from its 39th episode aired on July 12, Oh Geum-sung (Son Chang-min) and his brother Oh Su-sung (Oh Dae-gyu) suddenly left the whole sequence for good as they were depicted to travel to the U.S. to visit their wives.

Oh Dae-san (Byeon Hee-bong) died of a car accident after an out-of-body experience, and Park Ju-ri (Shin Joo-ah) left Korea to live with her beloved located overseas.

Another cast-kill is expected to fall on one of the main cast members Oh Wang-sung (Park Young-gyu) as he was depicted to end his relationship with lover Hwang Si-mong (Kim Bo-yeon), which typically leads to off-the-air in Korean morning dramas.

The cast members complained that none of their associates informed them of their future leave in advance. But they can't voice their complaints out of fear that they will stick out like a sore thumb once they do.

Attentions now point to Lim Seong-han, writer of Princess Aurora, as to how she will unravel its remaining sequence.

The drama lies on the same ground as Lim's past dramas, including "Dear God," "Jewel Bibimbap" and "Shin Gisaeng Dyeon" in that several cast members faced abrupt cast-kills.
