Representatives from 144 South Korean firms and business entities will accompany President Park Geun-hye on her upcoming trip to Mexico, the government said Monday.
The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy announced the list, which includes the heads of Samsung Electronics Co. and Korean Air Lines Co.
It also contains Park Yong-maan, chairman of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Huh Chang-soo, leader of the Federation of Korean Industries.
Park is scheduled to visit Mexico from April 2-5 following a stay in Washington, D.C. for the Nuclear Security Summit.
In selecting the economic delegation, the ministry took into account the possibility of successful business deals, expected results and other factors, according to the ministry.
The business leaders plan to hold a road show in Mexico City on Monday to meet potential investors. (Yonhap)
