Ballad singer Hang Dong-geun, 25, was caught drunk driving on August 30, according to Bangbae Police Station in Seoul, Wednesday.
Han was driving in the neighborhood of Bangbae at 11 p.m. with a blood alcohol level of 0.103 percent, which exceeds the license revocation limit.
Han reportedly admitted his wrongdoing when police caught him. He will face further investigation Wednesday.
"Han is regretting his mistake and will have time for self-reflection, with all his activities suspended," the singer's agency, PLEDIS Entertainment, said. "We will regularly educate our artists to prevent drunk driving so that an incident like this would not occur again in the future."
Han became known after being crowned winner of the MBC show "Star Audition: The Great Birth 3" in 2012-13. He rose to fame thanks to hits including "Making A New Ending For This Story" and "Amazing You."
