JYP Entertainment founder and CEO Park Jin-young disclosed Wednesday that the company ditched its intern system after myriad people asked him to employ their children.

The CEO uploaded the third teaser for Mnet's upcoming reality show "Super Intern" on his Instagram and elaborated ― using Korean and English ― on the reason why the agency has no interns.

"There were so many people that asked me to hire their kids as our Intern so their kids can get an advantage when they apply for jobs," Park wrote. "Families, friends and people in high places…they were all disappointed at me but I couldn't do it because of my conscience."

He added, "Helping their children be advantageous means making other kids disadvantageous. I couldn't be a part of making this world unfair. So we eliminated our intern system three years ago."

Park also reaffirmed that the intern recruitment process for the show would be impartial.

"Super Intern," a show that will look for interns without taking age, gender, educational background and previous experience into consideration, is scheduled to begin in December.
