Coway will participate in the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2019 in Las Vegas from Jan. 8 to 11, to show the whole world its innovative products and technologies that help people care for water, air and living environments, the company said Sunday.
CES, an annual trade show held every January by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), has been recognized as one of the world's three biggest electronics and IT exhibitions, along with the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona and the Internationale Funkausstellung (IFA) in Berlin.
It is the fourth time Korea's largest home appliance rental service firm has participated in CES.
The nation's leading water and air purifier manufacturer seeks to expand its presence in the global market by showcasing its "well-being electronics" at its promotional booth during the trade fair.
According to Coway, the theme of the promotional booth will be "Being Well, Feeling Good."
It will let visitors know how the company has offered "innovative" convenience and happiness for everyday life.
Coway said the booth will feature a large number of products and services that offer convenience and happiness and help people care for air, water and living environments.
The products will include 33 types of products in eight categories including water purifiers, air purifiers and bidets.
The company will come up with a variety of opportunities as well, for visitors to experience and take a close look at its innovative products and technologies.
In addition, Coway will showcase its CIROO (Coway Intensive Reserve Osmosis) direct water purifier, standing water purifier, shower softener and massage chair, all of which are equipped with the company's cutting-edge technologies.
In November, Coway said it received CES 2019 Innovation Awards for the four products.
"During CES 2019, we will come up with the trend of well-being electronics and introduce our innovative products and services that came into the world after our long-standing efforts to contribute to the happiness of our customers," Coway CEO Lee Hae-sun said. "As the leading well-being electronics maker in Korea, we will capitalize on CES 2019 to expand our presence in the global market."
