Korea bounced back, kind of, from a disappointing Asian Cup in January with a 1-0 win over Bolivia, Friday, thanks to a late goal from Lee Chung-yong.
후반전 말미에 터진 이청용의 결승 골로 한국 축구대표팀은 금요일 볼리비아를 상대한 친선전에서 1-0 승리를 거두며 지난 1월의 실망스러운 아시안컵 결과에서 어느 정도 회복했음을 보였다.
That at least gave the sold-out crowd at the Ulsan World Cup Stadium something to shout about as while the game was won, the old issues remain.
이청용의 골은 울산 월드컵경기장을 가득 메운 관중들이 기뻐할 수 있게는 했지만, 이전의 고질적 단점들은 여전했다.
During the Asian Cup, Korea either struggled to create chances or convert chances that it actually made and this was the case against a fairly poor South American team.

This time, the Taeguk Warriors managed 21 shots on the Bolivia goal, compared to two from the opposition, but had to wait until five minutes from the end to break the deadlock. The lack of ruthlessness in front of goal is a recurring problem.

The major positive was the return of Kwon Chang-hoon. The midfielder was expected to star at the 2018 World Cup but picked up a serious injury in the final game of the French season. Kwon's awareness and passing ability did show coach Bento what he had missed at the Asian Cup.
권창훈의 복귀는 매우 긍정적이다. 권창훈은 2018 러시아 월드컵에 출전이 예상되었으나, 소속팀의 리그앙 마지막 경기에서 치명적인 부상을 입었다. 권창훈의 존재감과 패싱능력은 벤투 감독에게 아시안컵에서 부족한 점이 무엇이었는지를 분명히 보여줬다.
