Not wearing a makeup apparently doesn't bother Shuhua from (G)I-DLE.
The K-pop girl group star's Tuesday comment on the band's Instagram explained to 2.4 million followers why she shuns cosmetics, "aesthetic decorations" and hair dye.
Shuhua said she wanted to enjoy life and "not succumb to materialism." She said she likes the feel of "just watching me in the mirror, arranging my hair and keeping my outfits simple and dandy before heading out."
The youngest of the six-member band from Cube Entertainment said: "Everyone has different lifestyles and I respect what they like, all the while I have my own style of keeping things natural."
Shuhua's latest online post that defines beauty as "loving oneself despite shortcomings" has drawn over 240,000 likes and 2,250 replies as of Wednesday.
Shuhua is from Taiwan's Taoyuan City and her real name is Yeh Shu-hua. She ended her post with one of her favorite sayings: "Don't get pissed off by someone hell-bent on pissing you off."
The band has members from China, Thailand, Korea and Taiwan. Earlier this month it released the single "Help Me" from the original soundtrack of tvN TV drama "Her Private Life."
