The music video of K-pop girl band BLACKPINK's "Kill This Love" has hit the milestone of 700 million YouTube views.
K팝 걸그룹 블랙핑크의 '킬디스러브' 뮤직비디오가 유튜브 조회수 7억뷰라는 대기록을 달성했다.
The video, released in April, surpassed the 700 million threshold late Saturday evening, according to the band's label, YG Entertainment, on Sunday.
이들의 소속사 YG엔터테인먼트는 지난해 4월 공개된 이 뮤직비디오가 늦은 토요일 저녁에 7억뷰라는 문턱을 돌파했다고 일요일 밝혔다.
The new record makes BLACKPINK the first K-pop band with four music videos that racked up more than 700 million views. The others are "Ddu-du Ddu-du," "Boombayah," and "As If It's Your Last."
이 새로운 기록은 블랙핑크를 7억뷰 이상의 조회수를 기록한 네 개의 뮤직비디오를 가진 최초의 K팝 그룹으로 만들었다. 7억뷰가 넘는 다른 뮤직비디오 영상들은 '뚜두뚜두', '붐바야', '마지막처럼'이다.
Following its release in April, "Kill This Love" peaked at No. 41 on Billboard's Hot 100 single chart, the highest showing on the chart for a Korean girl group.
'킬디스러브'는 지난 4월 발매된 이후 빌보드 핫100 싱글차트에서 41위까지 올랐고, 이는 K팝 걸그룹중 가장 높은 순위다.
It also won the "Music Video of 2019" at the E! People's Choice Awards, an American awards ceremony held annually recognizing artists and entertainers by casting votes online. (Yonhap)
