Nam Tae-hyun, a former member of K-pop boy band WINNER, has apologized to fans for his social media outburst this week.

The singer went live on Instagram Monday and made a tearful confession that he's sorry to have left WINNER. He also revealed he is taking medicine because he feels scared.

Nam returned to Instagram the following day, saying he and his band South Club are working hard and asked fans not to hate him.

His label P&B Entertainment said Wednesday Nam is going through a hard time preparing a new album.

Nam debuted with WINNER in 2014 with the album "2014 S/S." But he left the group in 2016 and formed South Club in 2017.
