| Two HR-Sherpas, Hyundai Rotem's multi-purpose unmanned vehicle, are driven as part of a defense industry showcase at an undisclosed location. The two-ton military unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) is equipped with a remote-controlled weapon station to enhance its ability to track or shoot targets from a long distance. The Defense Acquisition Program Administration, a state body controlled by the defense ministry, said it picked the HR-Sherpa for a rapid acquisition and demonstration plan, which is aimed at quickly taking products that feature new technologies such as artificial intelligence to market after operational trials. / Courtesy of Hyundai Rotem |
