Ex-UN chief receives Chile's Strait of Magellan Award

The award is named after the Portuguese navigator who crossed a natural channel in southern Chile on Nov. 28, 1520, in a voyage financed by the Spanish Crown and is awarded to those who demonstrate innovation and exploration in their respective fields.
