K-pop juggernaut BTS has swept all the major honors at the 30th Seoul Music Awards with the success of last year's albums "MAP OF THE SOUL: 7" and "BE (Deluxe Edition)."

The group notched a total of six prizes, including the grand prize, at this year's awards ceremony, held online Sunday. This is the fourth year in a row since 2018 that the group won the highest honor at the annual awards.

BTS also won album of the year, song of the year and special prizes, including Hallyu Special Award and WhosFandom Award, voted by the fans.

"There wouldn't be BTS without ARMY," the septet said in a video thanking fans after receiving the awards. "We really hope that the days will get back to normal this year, so we can meet in person."

After winning the highest prize, the group said: "We've wished for nothing more than sharing joy and encouragement to the audiences through our music. But it's an honor to receive such a meaningful award."

The septet has had one of the best years of its K-pop career last year, reaching several milestone. It became the first K-pop group to top Billboard's Hot 100 chart ― with "Dynamite" ― and earn a Grammy nomination, with the award winners to be announced next month.

The group is set to release a new edition of its latest album "BE" on Feb. 19.

Along with BTS, 12 K-pop singers including TWICE, Stray Kids, Kang Daniel, TXT, and NCT 127 were winners of the awards' major honors.

Rookie of the Year crowns went to TREASURE, aespa and ENHYPEN, while Best Performance honors went to (G)I-DLE and The Boyz.
