K-pop project group I.O.I, which broke up in 2017, will reunite in a live broadcast, May 4, to celebrate the fifth anniversary of its debut.

But according to reports Tuesday, two members, Kang Mi-na and Zhou Jieqiong, will not participate as Kang already has a preset schedule and Zhou is currently staying in China.

What the members will do with their fans for the broadcast remains unknown for now.

I.O.I was formed during the first season of Mnet's audition show, "Produce 101," in 2016. The program's top 11 contestants ― Lim Na-young, Kim Chung-ha, Kim Se-jeong, Jung Chae-yeon, Zhou Jieqiong, Kim So-hye, Yoo Yeon-jung, Choi Yoo-jung, Kang Mi-na, Kim Do-yeon and Jeon So-mi ― joined I.O.I and put out a series of hits including "Whatta Man (Good Man)" (2016).

Prior to its dissolution, in 2016, I.O.I members promised they would reunite one day five years later.

The band's live broadcast will be available on KT's Seezn.
