Seunghan, a member of the K-pop boy band RIIZE, will halt his musical activities indefinitely following a series of online rumors concerning his private life.
K팝 보이그룹 라이즈 멤버 승한이 온라인에서 이어지는 사생활 관련 논란으로 음악 활동을 무기한 중단한다.

RIIZE's management company, SM Entertainment, announced Wednesday that Seunghan will step back from group activities, citing a mental burden and responsibility as the reasons.
수요일 라이즈 소속사 SM엔터테인먼트는 승한이 팀 활동에서 물러난다고 전하며 심적 부담과 책임감을 이유로 꼽았다.

"Seunghan told us that he wanted to take time off for his team," SM said in a statement. "We also concluded that it would be difficult for the group to continue its musical activities under these circumstances. So, from today on, RIIZE will perform as a sextet (consisting of Shotaro, Eunseok, Sungchan, Wonbin, Sohee and Anton)."
SM은 공식입장에서 "승한은 팀을 위해 활동을 중단하겠다는 의사를 전해왔다"며 "당사 역시 이러한 상황에서 활동을 이어가는 것은 무리가 있다고 판단했다. 따라서 오늘부터 라이즈는 6인 체제(쇼타로, 은석, 성찬, 원빈, 소희, 앤톤)로 활동한다"고 덧붙였다.

The label added, "We feel a strong sense of responsibility for our lack of management of our artist, although the incidents involving him took place before his debut. We are sincerely sorry."
소속사는 또 "당사는 데뷔 전일지라도 아티스트 관리에 소홀했던 부분에 대해 큰 책임감을 느끼고 있다. 진심으로 사과 드린다"고 밝혔다.

Seunghan also issued a handwritten apology on fan platform, Weverse, expressing remorse for his past actions.
또 승한은 팬 커뮤니티 플랫폼 위버스에 자필 편지를 올려 과거 행동에 대해 반성하고 있음을 드러냈다.

"First of all, I want to say I'm really sorry," the 19-year-old wrote. "I know very well that my rash actions in the past have hurt so many people. I'll sincerely reflect on myself and strive harder to become a better person."
만 19세인 승한은 "먼저 정말 죄송하다는 말씀 드린다"며 "과거의 제 경솔한 행동이 현재 너무 많은 분께 피해를 드리고 있다는 걸 잘 알고 있다. 반성하고 성찰해 더 좋은 사람이 될 수 있게 노력하겠다"고 덧붙였다.
