Camarata Music begins a six-show, four-date run of its production of "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown," a musical that premiered in 1967 about cartoonist Charles M. Schultz's "Peanuts" characters.

The original lyrics were written by Clark Gesner, and the script was credited to John Gordon, which Gesner claimed was a pseudonym covering himself, the cast members and the crew. After several successful runs, it inspired a 1985 TV special and a 1999 revival, which included new dialogue written by director Michael Mayer and additional songs written by Andrew Lippa. The characters include Charlie Brown and his dog Snoopy, Lucy and Linus van Pelt, pianist Schroeder and either Peppermint Patty or Charlie Brown's sister Sally. This production, based on the 1999 revival, will feature Sally.

Camarata's production is directed by Janete da Rocha, with help from music director Leslie Laney, stage manager Val Bernhardt and light designer Becky Pritchett. It stars Nicholas "Stu" Wineman as Charlie Brown, Jiyou Kim as Lucy, Tarryn Hood as Snoopy, Kat Rosner as Sally, Nelly Kwon as Linus and Maggie Chowles as Schroeder.

The show, which is fun for all ages, will run six times over the next two weekends. For the first weekend, there will be one show on Saturday starting at 3:30 p.m. and two on Sunday at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Jan. 20 performances will be at 3:30 p.m. and 8 p.m., and Jan. 21 will have one final performance at 4 p.m. It will all go down at The Studio HBC in central Seoul's Haebangchon neighborhood. Tickets cost 25,000 won.
