Woori Bank has opened the Global Investment WON Center, dedicated to foreign direct investment.

The bank announced that it opened the center at Seoul Finance Building in downtown Seoul, Wednesday, the second of its kind following the Gangnam Global Investment WON Center in southern Seoul.

The Global Investment WON Center is a special channel introduced by Woori Bank CEO Cho Byung-kyu when he took the position last July. It specializes in overseas capital transactions by businesses, such as foreign direct investment and overseas direct investment.

The new center in central Seoul's Gwanghwamun will provide businesses with diverse services all in one place, including acquisition of real estate or equities within the country or overseas, loans from overseas, launch of corporations overseas and escrow. Expert consulting meeting diverse needs in global investment and other services offered by Woori Financial Group affiliates will also be available.

"The opening of Gwanghwamun Center reflects growing customer demand for Woori's specialized services in overseas investment. Our experts, whose capabilities have already been proven, will provide the right solutions for complicated overseas capital transactions," Cho said.
