RM of BTS will release his second solo album "Right Place, Wrong Person" globally at 1 p.m. on May 24 (Seoul time), the group's agency Big Hit Music said through the group's official social media channels on Friday.

"The album explores the universal feeling of being an outsider, not fitting into the surrounding environment. It promises to resonate widely, addressing a common emotional experience," it said.

The album features 11 tracks, filled with rich sounds from the alternative music genre. RM's involvement in writing lyrics for every track raises expectations for this release.

"Right Place, Wrong Person" will reflect a distinct color unique to RM as a solo artist, different from BTS albums," the agency said. "We ask for everyone's anticipation and support for this album, which focuses on the essence of RM."

In preparation for his upcoming second solo album release, RM plans to sequentially unveil various contents leading up to the launch.

Meanwhile, RM released his first official solo album "Indigo" in December 2022, which was praised for transcending artistic boundaries through collaborations not only with musicians from various genres but also with artists from the visual arts sector.

Coming 17 months after "Indigo," RM's second solo album is expected to offer a deeper insight into his evolved artistic sensibility.
