Actor Han Ye-seul will join a new mobile live show as part of CJ Onstyle's latest venture into live commerce, which will blend entertainment with commerce.

At a media briefing Thursday, CJ Onstyle, a TV home shopping unit of CJ ENM, introduced the new mobile live show, combining web variety shows with commerce elements in a mobile live streaming format.

The program, set to air on the company's mobile app and YouTube starting Monday, will cover categories such as fashion, beauty, living and baby & kids.

Han will host the live styling coaching show, titled "What to Wear Today with Han Ye-seul," airing on Tuesday at 9 p.m.

Among other show hosts are singer Soyou for beauty products and model Ahn Jae-hyeon for living products. Their respective shows will be streamed live on the CJ Onstyle mobile app and YouTube channel from Monday to Thursday at designated times each week.

Han, who has shared her journey of maintaining a healthy lifestyle through YouTube and social media, emphasized the importance of exercise as a "magic bullet" for overall well-being. "Exercise isn't just about physical health or maintaining your figure. It's also great for mental health. It builds endurance and has countless benefits. It's essential for your skin, health, mental well-being and daily habits," she said.

Having recently announced her marriage, Han also spoke about her new life as a married woman. "I've joined the married club now. As many of you know, I enjoy trying new things, especially when new platforms emerge," she said. "I could be called an early adopter. Although live commerce is new to me and I was initially worried, I think it's going to be fun. It's a field I'm passionate about, so I believe I can communicate with authenticity."

She said she is taking on new challenges with a lot of ambition. "Challenges are always daunting, but the sense of accomplishment is huge," Han said. "This time, too, I've received a lot of support from those around me," she shared.

Han, who had been dating a man 10 years younger than her since May 2021, officially registered her marriage in May.
