Korea's top economic policymaker will hold daily emergency meetings with top economic and financial officials following the impeachment of President Yoon Suk Yeol, the finance ministry said Saturday.
Choi Sang-mok will host the first of such meetings Sunday afternoon involving economy-related ministers, according to a ministry spokesperson.
The meeting will be immediately followed by a separate meeting that will be attended by the Bank of Korea governor and the heads of the Financial Services Commission and the Financial Supervisory Service. (Yonhap)
