"Squid Game" actor Jung Ho-yeon has signed an exclusive contract with BH Entertainment.

"We are thrilled to work with Jung Ho-yeon, an actor with boundless potential and much more to show," BH Entertainment said Friday. "Through our comprehensive and meticulous management system, covering both domestic and international platforms, we aim to support her growth into a globally beloved actor."

BH Entertainment is a talent management company founded in 2006 by actor Lee Byung-hun and his manager.

Jung debuted in 2011 through "Korea's Next Top Model" Season 2 and established herself as a top model, participating in major fashion shows and global brand campaigns. She transitioned to acting with her breakthrough role as Kang Sae-byeok in Netflix's "Squid Game" Season 1, sparking a global sensation dubbed the "Jung Ho-yeon syndrome."

She became the first Korean actor to win Best Actress at the 28th Screen Actors Guild Awards and was nominated for Supporting Actress at the 74th Emmy Awards.

She recently finished filming director Na Hong-jin's new movie "Hope" and gained attention for her role as Ji-soo, the assistant to Catherine (Cate Blanchett), in the Apple TV+ drama "Disclaimer" (2024).
