A-16-year-old boy named Joshua Davies killed his ex-girl friend, Rebecca Aylward, last October over a free cooked breakfast from his friends, according to the British Daily Mail newspaper. Davis brought her to secluded spot and murdered her with a rock-sized rugby ball.

Although having broken up three months ago, they had had a good relationship. It is said that Rebecca's mother happily allowed her to meet the churchgoing boy again.

A few weeks before Davies committed the crime, he and his friends bet on buying breakfast if he killed someone. Two days before the murder, Davies told them: "Don't say anything but you might just owe me a breakfast," according to the newspaper. His friends did not believe that he actually carried out his threat. He then took a friend to the scene to show him the body.

On the day he murdered her, he posted messages on Facebook, saying that "I was at home with my two friends," for creating his alibi.

In addition, Davies expressed his concern over Rebecca's missing and said he was worried about her family.

He denied his guilt and attributed his behavior to his friend in the court.

The court declared him guilty on the charge of murder.
