Actor Yoon kicked out of K-drama for drunk driving

Actor Yoon Tae-young has been removed from an upcoming Korean drama for allegedly causing an accident while driving drunk last week.

According to Gangnam Police Station, Yoon drove into a car stopped ahead of him at a red light at around 8 p.m. on May 13. His blood alcohol level was high enough to for his license to be suspended.

tvN reported Monday that another actor would replace Yoon in an upcoming drama series "Dear Husband of 100 Days." The replacement has yet to be announced.

Yoon is also well known as the son of Samsung Group former vice chairman Yoon Jong-yong.

Yoon Tae-yong's agency said the actor was "undergoing a period of deep regret and reflection."
