Top comedian Kim Sook is in mourning for her mother, who died on Monday.
Kim's agency IOK Company said her mother, 80, died from natural causes early in morning. Kim has suspended her all broadcasting work. It is not clear when she will resume.
Her mother's body is at a hospital in Busan. The funeral is scheduled for early Wednesday.
