Actor Kang Ji-hwan, 42, admitted in a recent interrogation that he sexually assaulted two female colleagues, police said on Wednesday.
The actor has been detained since July 10 after being caught at his home by police officers called in by the two alleged victims. His admission was an abrupt departure from his initial position of "having no memory because I was totally drunk."
"I admit to all charges against me," Kang's attorney quoted him as saying on Wednesday. "I express my deepest apology to the victims afflicted by my unforgivable wrongdoing."
Kang is suspected of raping a woman and molesting another at his home after they drank together on July 9.
