Hwanhee, member of K-pop duo Fly to the Sky, is being investigated for drunk driving, police said Saturday.

According to Yongin Seobu Police Station, Hwanhee, 38, was caught in Yongin, south of Seoul, at around 6 a.m. after his Mercedes bumped into another car. An insurance agent, who had noticed the smell of alcohol, called police.

A breath test showed his blood alcohol content was 0.061 percent ― high enough to have his driver's license suspended.

"We apologize for the inexcusable fault," his agency H2media said in a statement. "We are terribly sorry."

Hwanhee debuted as a lead singer of Fly to the Sky in 1999 and has expanded his career to acting. Last year, he released an album to celebrate his 20th debut anniversary.
