Stepping into a new realm of artistic expression, K-pop sensation NCT DREAM has launched an immersive exhibition titled "THEATER OF DREAMS," captivating fans with a unique blend of music and art.

This innovative showcase, which opened its doors at Theatre des Lumieres in Grand Walkerhill Seoul in Gwangjin District, Saturday, represents a collaboration between the boy band and Theatre des Lumieres. Utilizing the cutting-edge AMIEX technology, developed by Culturespaces, the exhibition offers a fresh, multisensory experience that diverges from NCT DREAM's signature high-energy stage performances.

AMIEX is an inventive exhibition technique that reinterprets art through light displays and music. The technology delivers an immersive floor-to-ceiling digital projection with various cutting-edge features, including high-definition beam projectors, video-acoustic automation systems and 3D sounds to enhance the experience.

Unlike previous exhibitions based on historical and contemporary artworks, "THEATER OF DREAMS" caters to a broader audience, specifically targeting K-pop enthusiasts.

The exhibition consists of 11 video sequences, each showcasing the boy band's performances through visual displays. A notable segment, "To. NCTzen DREAM," dedicated to the group's official fandom, concludes the exhibition with heartfelt messages from the group members to their fans.

The exhibition also offers interactive elements, including a photo zone and a media art space, allowing fans to engage more closely with the artists. Beyond the exhibition hall, visitors may explore an art shop offering exclusive "THEATER OF DREAMS" merchandise and a lounge cafe featuring special NCT DREAM-inspired menus.

"Through the K-pop immersive art exhibition 'THEATER OF DREAMS,' we aim for the audience to embrace a novel way of enjoying K-pop content, fostering a multisensory and immersive experience," Park Jin-woo, CEO of Tmonet, the Korean operator of Theatre des Lumieres, said in an official press release.

The "THEATER OF DREAMS" exhibition runs through Jan. 31, 2024.

Meanwhile, NCT DREAM continues to make waves with chart-topping hits like "BOOM," "Beatbox" and "ISTJ" since their debut in 2016 with "Chewing Gum."

The group recently participated in the U.S. 2023 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour, captivating audiences in Boston on Dec. 10, Washington, D.C. on Dec. 11 and Atlanta on Dec. 14, alongside other world-class artists who graced the event this year.
