Coway will hold a special end-of-year promotional campaign for its bestselling products, such as its water purifiers, bidets and massage chairs, the company said Wednesday.

According to the home appliance maker, it will offer a 50 percent discount on the rental price of its two water purifier models — the Icon Water Purifier 2 and Icon Ice Water Purifier — for six months. Customers can get the discount by signing a rental contract for seven years or six years, respectively, for the two models.

Customers renting the Nobel Air Purifier 2 will receive a discount of 352,000 won ($245) after signing a seven-year rental contract.

Coway's Berex Pebble chair customers will also enjoy a rental fee discount of 385,900 won when renting their massage chair for five years.

The company said it also offers special discounts for other key appliance lineups, such as electric ranges. Those interested in the promotion can visit the firm's website and ask for relevant information via its customer center.

Coway has also prepared for an additional giveaway event for those who decide to rent the products by the end of 2024. A total of 500 customers will be given a promotional gift worth 90,000 won to purchase products at Shinsegae and CU. The company will also give discount coupons for people to use for laundry and cleaning services in case customers purchase certain lineups of Berex mattresses and bidets.

For those who purchase more than two products at one time, Coway will also run a prize draw event, and winners will receive either a set of pots or cookware whose value ranges from 210,000 won to 400,000 won.

“We are pleased to present our popular products at a more reasonable price through the year-end promotional event,” an official from Coway said. “We hope the event can serve as a great opportunity for customers to enjoy our best-selling products.”
