Singer/TV personality Jung Joon-young appeared at Seoul Central District Court Thursday morning to attend a hearing for charges of secretly filming about 10 sex partners and distributing the clips in a mobile group chat with friends in 2015.

Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency subpoenaed Jung twice last week for questioning, then requested prosecutors apply for an arrest warrant on March 18. Prosecutors filed the writ the following day.

After showing up at the court, Jung took out a piece of paper and read from it his statement of apology. Here is the full text of what he said:

I am truly sorry. I committed an unforgivable crime. I admit I'm responsible for all the allegations on me.

As to today's hearing on the arrest decision, I won't object by any degree to the conclusive outcome of inspectors' investigation and will earnestly follow the court's judgment.

Once again, my apologies to the victimized women in pain because of me, others who also suffered in this scandal from baseless false rumors, and those who have shown me love and support.

I will faithfully cooperate with further investigations and regret what I had done for the rest of my life.

I am truly sorry.
