Twin giant pandas born last month celebrated their one-month birthday at Everland Panda World, according to the country's largest theme park, Monday.
국내 최대 규모 테마파크 에버랜드는 지난달 태어난 쌍둥이 판다가 월요일 에버랜드 판다월드에서 생후 1개월을 맞았다고 전했다.
In photos taken the day before their 30th day on Sunday, the much-celebrated twins of an endangered species appeared slightly plumper. The distinctive black markings characteristic of pandas were visible around their eyes, ears, shoulders, arms and legs.
생후 30일이 되기 하루 전 촬영한 사진에서 멸종 위기종인 대한민국 ‘톱스타' 쌍둥이 판다는 다소 통통해진 모습이었다. 판다 특유의 검정 무늬는 눈과 귀, 어깨, 팔과 다리 등에서 확연해졌다.
The twin pandas, born to mother Ai Bao and father Le Bao at Everland Panda World, are both female. They were born on July 7, weighing 180 grams and 140 grams, respectively. Both Ai Bao and her two cubs are in good health.
에버랜드 판다월드에서 엄마 아이바오와 아빠 러바오 사이에서 태어난 쌍둥이 판다는 모두 암컷이다. 쌍둥이 판다는 지난 7월 7일에 각가 180g과 140g으로 태어났다. 엄마 아이바오와 쌍둥이 판다는 모두 건강한 상태다.
As part of their 30-day health checkup, the twin pandas weighed 1.1 kilograms and 1.2 kilograms, respectively, marking a remarkable sixfold and eightfold increase in weight respectively over the course of one month. The twin pandas recently achieved their first successful attempts at rolling over.
생후 30일차를 맞아 진행된 건강검진에서 쌍둥이 판다는 각각 1.1kg과 1.2kg을 기록하며 한달 사이에 체중이 각각 6배, 8배라는 놀라운 증가를 보였다. 쌍둥이 판다는 최근에는 처음으로 뒤집기에 성공하기도 했다.
"Drawing from Ai Bao's parenting experience with Korea's first baby panda, Fu Bao, she is adeptly caring for the twin pandas," the Everland zookeeper said. "We are adjusting feeding frequency and formula quantities based on the twin pandas' health and growth stages."
에버랜드 사육사는 "국내 최초 아기 판다인 푸바오 양육 경험을 살려 아이바오는 쌍둥이 판다를 능숙하게 돌보고 있다"고 밝혔다. "현재 쌍둥이 판다의 건강과 성장 단계에 맞춰 먹는 횟수와 분유량 등을 조절해가고 있다."
The growth journey of the twin pandas can be observed on Everland's YouTube channel, the Everland blog and Zootopia Naver Cafe. Their related videos have garnered a combined total of over 30 million views, establishing an adoring fan base.
쌍둥이 판다의 성장 모습은 에버랜드 공식 유튜브와 에버랜드 블로그, 주토피아 네이버 카페 등에서 확인할 수 있다. 지금까지 관련 영상 조회수 합산이 3000만뷰를 넘어서며 열렬한 팬덤을 형성하고 있다.
As the twin pandas continue to grow, they will transition gradually to solid foods and their vision will start to develop. They are expected to take their first steps at around four months of age.
쌍둥이 판다가 성장하면서 점차 고체 음식으로 넘어가면 시력이 발달한다. 4개월경부터는 네 발로 걸음마를 시작할 것으로 보인다.
Around six months of age, the twin pandas will begin eating bamboo after initially consuming a mixture of mother's milk and formula. At this point, visitors to Panda World can expect to meet these adorable creatures.
쌍둥이 판다는 초기에 어미 젖과 분유를 먹다가 생후 6개월경부터 대나무를 먹기 시작한다. 이때부터는 판다월드 방문객들이 이 사랑스러운 쌍둥이 판다를 만나볼 수 있을 것으로 보인다.
