ENHYPEN, one of the many distinguished boy bands on HYBE's roster, embarks on a new musical chapter with its latest project, the "ROMANCE" series. The group's latest album, "ROMANCE : UNTOLD," marks its first venture into showcasing the sweeter, more affectionate aspect of their musical expression.

Consisting of Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo and Ni-ki, ENHYPEN has showcased not only quality music, but also woven solid narratives through previous albums.

The group has since grown through a total of four series: "BORDER," "DIMENSION," "MANIFESTO" and "BLOOD," with the latest "ROMANCE" marking their fifth.

During a press event at the Olympic Handball Stadium, Songpa District, Seoul, Thursday, a day prior to the new album's release, the ENHYPEN members expressed exceptional confidence in its upcoming second studio album "ROMANCE : UNTOLD."

Sporting charming pink hair, Heesung shared his excitement about the new album, stating, "We put a lot of thought into the direction of this album, and it wasn't easy to create. However, with the great news of over two million pre-orders, we feel motivated to work even harder."

According to distributor CJ ENM, "ROMANCE : UNTOLD" had already sold over 2.2 million copies as of Thursday afternoon, becoming a double million-seller with pre-orders alone — a remarkable feat for a yet-to-be-released album.

The album's title track, "XO (Only If You Say Yes)," perfectly captures the album's lovely theme. JVKE, the creator of the Billboard Hot 100 hit "Golden Hour," contributed to the song, adding to its sweetness.

Sunghoon explained that the lead single "reflects the indispensable relationship between ENHYPEN and their official fandom ENGENE," stating that the group "grows and gains strength from fans' recognition and love."

Sunoo chimed in, adding, "When we first heard the melody, it was so catchy that we thought everyone would love it."

The song's choreography also embodies the playful sentiments of a charming romantic. The dance moves stand out particularly with its intuitive movements illustrating the word "XO," combined with vibrant step sequences.

"We tried to tone down the dark allure of our previous albums and express coolness, cuteness and sexiness through the new lead single's choreography," Jake explained, highlighting the effort put into the moves.

The album includes other tracks such as "Moonstruck," "Your Eyes Only," "Hundred Broken Hearts," "Brought The Heat Back," "Paranormal," "Royalty" and "Highway 1009."

Despite returning with a rich array of songs in its upcoming album, ENHYPEN's goals remained modest and heartfelt.

Expressing a simple hope, Jungwon noted, "I hope this album will make more people appreciate ENHYPEN's music and that many will get the chance to see and feel what we are about."
