Singer and actor IU's agency, EDAM Entertainment, said Friday that it would provide food and hand warmers for attendees of the impeachment rally near the National Assembly in Yeouido, Seoul, Saturday, coinciding with the vote on President Yoon Suk Yeol's impeachment motion.

In a message posted on IU's official fan cafe on Dec. 13, the agency said, "To warm the cold hands of Uaena (IU's fan club) holding their light sticks and lighting up the rally in this freezing weather, we have prepared food and hand warmers."

The provisions, arranged through pre-payment at nearby restaurants, include 500 servings of dishes like beef bone soup, mini lunch boxes, red bean bread, and 200 cups of coffee and other beverages.

EDAM Entertainment emphasized that the food, drinks, and hand warmers would be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis to anyone participating in the rally, not just official fan club members.
