A woman rallying for President Yoon Suk Yeol's impeachment near his residence in Hannam-dong, Seoul, was slapped by a supporter. A video capturing the act, titled "Yoon supporter slaps pro-impeachment protester," went viral on Tuesday.

In the video, a woman dressed in a black padded jacket and hat is seen holding a sign supporting the impeachment of Korea's suspended leader.

Another woman in a white padded jacket approaches, attempts to snatch the sign, and suddenly slaps her in the face. Onlookers are heard exclaiming, "She hit her, she hit her," as the scene unfolds. The assailant was taken to a local police station for questioning.

The victim shared the video on social media platform X on Monday, captioning it, "I'm the one who got hit by a Yoon supporter," along with hashtags such as "no leniency" and "legal action in progress." By early morning on Jan. 8, the video had garnered over 1.3 million views.

Some netizens expressed anger, commenting, "Do not let this slide. Physical violence is unacceptable," and "The video is shocking; I hope the victim is okay."
