Impeached President Yoon Suk Yeol is taken to the Seoul Detention Center after being questioned over his short-lived imposition of martial law at the Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials in Gwacheon, just south of Seoul, Jan. 15. Yonhap

Investigators are set to begin a second day of questioning of impeached President Yoon Suk Yeol over his short-lived imposition of martial law at 2 p.m. Thursday, the state anti-corruption agency said.

The Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials (CIO) said the session was rescheduled from the morning to the afternoon after Yoon requested a postponement, citing health reasons.

Yoon spent the night at a detention center following over 10 hours of questioning at the CIO office in Gwacheon, just south of Seoul, on Wednesday after being detained at his residence and brought there.

He faces charges of insurrection and abuse of power in connection with his declaration of martial law on Dec. 3.

He refused to answer any questions Wednesday, the CIO said. (Yonhap)
