Seven people were injured Thursday after a shell reportedly landed near a civilian house in the northern city of Pocheon, authorities said.
Authorities said a report was received around 10 a.m. that a presumed shell fell on a road by a house in the city some 43 kilometers north of Seoul, leaving seven people with minor to serious injuries, and destroying a church and six other buildings in the village.

Investigators are looking into where the shell fell from, including the possibility of a connection to a military exercise being held nearby. (Yonhap)
