Rapper C Jamm is set to make a comeback after a drug scandal.

C Jamm, whose name is Ryu Sung-min, was recently released from a detention center and has been gearing up to release a new album, according to OSEN, Tuesday. He has filmed the music video and the timing of the album release is under discussion.

A spokesperson for C Jamm's agency Just Music told Herald POP Tuesday that news of his comeback may be available on his social network.

But C Jamm, 25, has already featured on rapper Changstarr's fresh track "Sperm Man," according to Changstarr's Instagram, Sunday.

However, many people have been giving him the cold shoulder, saying it is premature for him to return only four months after being sentenced.

C Jamm was arrested in June for using marijuana and cocaine. In August, Suwon District Court sentenced him to a year and six months in jail, suspended for two years, and ordered him to do 80 hours of probation and community service, plus 40 hours of drug treatment education.

He was also ordered to pay the state about 16 million won ($14,000), the amount he spent on drugs.

C Jamm shot to stardom after appearing on Mnet's hip-hop audition show "Show Me The Money 5" in 2016.
