The Ministry of Health and Welfare is providing information about hospitals that will operate around the clock during the Lunar New Year holidays. Details are available on the website.


The ministry said more than 530 medical centers will be open for emergency patients. In the event of any emergency, call 129 or 119.

Meanwhile, some cities and provinces will open their tourist attractions free of charge to attract domestic and foreign visitors during the holiday season.

Namwon, North Jeolla Province, said the city will open Gwanhanllu and Chunhyang Theme Park free of charge from Friday to Sunday.

Hadong, South Gyeongsang Province, will offer free tickets to tourists who visit the House of Choi Champan on Saturday.

South Jeolla Province said it will open Jeollanam-do Wando Arboretum free from Friday to Monday.

Tourists to Chuncheon, Gangwon Province, can also visit Gugok Falls, Samaksan Mountain and Cheongpyeongsa Temple free of charge from Friday to Monday.
