Joon Park, 48, a Korean-American singer has revealed how he and other Koreans were victims of an ugly racist/theft incident in Belgium.

Park and a few other stars had been filming a reality show called "Buying Trouble." While crossing a street late at night, a group of Belgium youngsters greeted them in Chinese. K-pop star So-you replied politely that they were Korean. But the gang began to harass them, with one putting his leg under Park's crotch and grabbing him from both sides. The gang then tried to take off Park's wristwatch and snatch his backpack.

Park posted on Instagram page on September 24th, that the incident was unexpected and that he was extremely confused at first.

"Once I realized what was going on, I decided to protect my team and staff from those guys," he said." I was furious and scared because we didn't know what these crazy people would do."But he added, "I just want you all to know that there are good and bad people anywhere."

He had shared his childhood experiences in the U.S. ― including racism ― on a show called "Roommate."He said the latest incident in Europe made him feel like he was back in the 1970s.
