A man who spread "dirty" composite photos of a female friend on Facebook has been sentenced to eight months' jail.
The Seoul High Court ruling on the man, identified as Lee, 27, was harsher than the 10 million won fine imposed earlier by the Seoul Central District Court.
The court heard that Lee created a fake SNS account in the name of the victim's boyfriend and uploaded sexually degrading pictures of her face combined with naked bodies taken from porn sites.
The victim suffered severe mental trauma.
The appeals court said the earlier penalty was too lenient considering the severity of mental duress the woman suffered.
