A Korean couple has been arrested for allegedly stealing products worth 120,000 yen from a drugstore in Japan, Kyodo News reported on Sunday.

Police in Osaka said the couple stole 52 packets of medicine and medical supplies.

The couple allegedly had planned to sell the goods in Japan and South Korea.

Separately, stolen goods worth 1,500,000 yen were found in their hotel.

In total, the two are suspected of stealing goods worth 1,650,000 yen ($14,000) in Japan.

They have frequently visited Japan since last September, mostly through Fukuoka airport. The latest visit was early this month to Kansai.
