Ice rink returns to Grand Hyatt Seoul

The Grand Hyatt Seoul has opened its ice-skating rink for the winter.

Celebrating its 22nd season, the swimming pool-turned-rink accommodates up to 150 skaters across its 1,100-square-meter surface, and is open daily throughout the winter.

To celebrate the occasion, the Grand Hyatt offers a Propose on Ice promotion, among others, where the rink is transformed into a romantic stage, with a special table of wine and cake after daily operations end.

For those who do not have skates, rentals are available.

Fairfield by Marriott arrives in Busan

The Fairfield by Marriott Busan has opened its doors ― the first Fairfield brand in the port city.

The 225-room property is located in Haeundae, a popular beach resort, which Marriott says is ideal for both business and leisure travelers as the location offers convenient access to major commercial, entertainment and cultural venues in the city.

The hotel features a modern restaurant that offers a buffet-style breakfast of both local and international specialties and its well-equipped fitness center is available for guests. For the business traveler, the hotel offers flexible workspaces in the lobby and a fully-equipped meeting room that can accommodate up to 30 people comfortably.

Park Hyatt comes up with Korean version of Buche de Noel

The Park Hyatt Seoul has unveiled a Korean version of Buche de Noel on the occasion of Christmas. Buche de Noel is a traditional Christmas cake from France that looks like a piece of wood.

Unlike the log-shaped French cake, the Park Hyatt's product is designed like a traditional Korean wooden gift box with chocolate. Also, it contains gold powder-coated honey chocolates.

It will be available only in December at the Italian restaurant Cornerstone. A one-day advance order is required.

Enjoy Finnish winter at Le Meridien

The Le Meridien Seoul has launched a promotion allowing guests to feel as if they are in Finland in winter time.

The Experience Winter in Finland package features complimentary tickets to outdoor bar and lounge Lapland at Park Bar, a birch tree-decorated midnight party and Finnish sauna. In addition, guests can have a five-course dinner and free breakfast at all-day dining Chef's Palette. Lapland is the largest and northernmost region of the Scandinavian country.

The promotion will be available until the end of January.
