After Big Hit Entertainment released online this week two teaser clips for Thursday's launch of "Boy With Luv" by BTS, Korean media buzzed about the seven-member band's V and how he shined.
V, whose name is Kim Tae-hyung, made an impressive close-up in the teaser, wearing a red suit and with his hair dyed blue.
The scene apparently overshadowed the rest of the 28-second clip. Multiple "reaction videos" on YouTube shared similar impressions.
The teaser, which as of Thursday has recorded over 11 million views, is a glimpse into the music video of the track from the "Map of the Soul" album.
In 2017, online group The Independent Critics, led by TC Candler, selected V as the most handsome face in the world in the annual top 100 handsome faces chart. His band mates Jungkook and Jimin were ranked 13th and 64th.
