Former YG Entertainment CEO Yang Hyun-suk was taken in for questioning at the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency Wednesday afternoon over sex-for-favors allegations.
Several reporters spotted him returning home around midnight after about nine hours of questioning.
Police investigated Yang, 50, over allegations he arranged sexual escorts for foreign investors at a posh restaurant in Seoul in 2014. Although he was summoned, he was not taken in as a suspect. Yang denied the allegations against him.
Former YG artist Psy was also investigated in a related probe after he was named as being at the scene with Yang where the sex-for-favors allegedly happened.
The allegations were first brought up through MBC investigative program "Straight" last month. The program reported that Yang invited prostitutes from adult entertainment to the dinner with potential foreign investors in July 2014.
Yang and Psy denied the report shortly after the episode aired. Psy admitted introducing the two investors to Yang but denied involvement in the sex service.
Yang announced his resignation as chief of YG early this month.
