Tourists on Jeju Island have been removed from beaches after a big shark-shaped marine creature was seen on Monday afternoon.

A beachgoer called police at 12:30 p.m., claiming he saw a "shark-shaped marine creature" and a "shark fin-shaped" object swimming off Hamduk Beach.

Police have locked down Hamduk and neighboring beaches.
