Limitless, a boy group consisting of three contestants of Mnet's music audition "Produce 101" season2, Jang Moon-bok (Moonvok), Seong Hyun-woo (A.M.) and Yoon Hee-seok (Heeseok); as well as Lee Hwi-chan (Raychan) from JTBC's "MIXNINE," made its official debut Tuesday with the album "Dreamplay."

Their showcase, held at MUV hall in Hongdae, western Seoul was crowded with reporters and fans, showing their popularity from the start.

Of the four members, Moonvok rose to stardom in Produce 101 after his bittersweet experience in another audition program SuperStar K years ago. There he was derided by many people over his rapping skills.

"We worked hard to prepare ourselves for this showcase, but it feels very different to when we were just practicing. The choreography is more dynamic than usual so I am very nervous," Heeseok, the youngest of the group, said.

"Our first album 'Dreamplay' features house-based dance music, which creates a dreamlike mood but also has a cool feeling. It's great music to listen to in the summer," said A. M.

Compared to other electronic sounds that most K-pop songs use, there are some hints of wind instruments.

As with any other such group, the members of Limitless also took a year off to prepare for their debut. Although all four members have appeared on music audition programs, none of them became finalists.

Heeseok said he would continue his studies when he announced he was dropping out from season 2 of Produce 101 but he seems to have had a change of heart. He is currently on a leave of absence from Konkuk University.

"Hopefully I will go back to school next year and at the same time continue to follow my music career," Heeseok said. "I came to ONO Entertainment because A.M. called me. We talked and thought that we could make a great team together," he added. "We had a lot in common in terms of direction of our music. And of course, Moonvok was here which made us feel better."

Moonvok said he has been enjoying living with the members.
"I just want to take this opportunity to say I have been very grateful to my members, because even though I am the oldest member here, they have been the ones who took care of me," he said.

He became emotional when he talked about his mother who recently passed away. "My mother had cancer, and she didn't tell me because she wanted me to keep focusing on my music," he said. "So I hurried the debut because she really wanted to see me debut as a singer."

"We don't know what kind of team we will be in the future or what kind of music we will pursue later on," A.M, the leader of the group said. "From this album release, we wanted to see how other people see us," he continued.

"We are taking time to develop our own style as a team. I am studying how to make and write music as well," he said. At the moment, they want to be left as a team who works hard.

Indeed, the members said they called themselves "Limitless" to reflect that they don't want to limit to their growth or their goals in the future.
